The Last Sip: What Actually Happened in Politics Today

Since this is my first night doing this, hey! Welcome to my version of a nightly recap of what I was covering during the day in today’s political nightmare. I’ll be doing this every night instead of doom scrolling in bed so please, clap for that.

To get things started, trump continues to attack his political opponents…Ex-Trump adviser John Bolton was indicted.

Federal prosecutors say that Bolton sent thousands of documents to family related to national defense. Honestly, I don’t really have an opinion on this. Pretty mob boss behavior. Since today, I believe he has pleaded not guilty.

Next up, awesome news. Zohran continues to soar! Fox News continues to show polls that have him up almost 20+ points and that makes my day. He’s going to make an amazing mayor for New Yorkers. Hell, I kinda wanna move there.

The last and biggest thing I want to talk about is tomorrow. Tomorrow is the no kings protests across the country. Millions are expected to attend and the world is legitimately watching. Are you going to a protest near you? Let me know in the comments where you are protesting from and send me pictures on threads! (Sean On Threads ).

Important reminder about tomorrow: What you share in a photo or video can reveal more than what you might think, and put people who are already being targeted by the Trump administration at risk.

Maddow just confirmed MSNBC’s doing wall-to-wall No Kings Day coverage tomorrow. The last protest did get some media attention but not what I’m expecting tomorrow.

Remember: When everyone is screaming that these protests are doing nothing, they don’t understand that you can’t do any of that without a movement. This is how you create a movement. This will lead to bigger things. This will gain momentum and will move us closer to holding this administration accountable.
There are NO KINGS in America, and I hope you hit the streets tomorrow and make that known.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Subscribe if you can, and look forward to these every night. In my own words. ❤️

Resist.
