Trump’s Iran War Could Be About to Enter an Even More Dangerous Phase
The U.S. military is reportedly considering using one of the most powerful non-nuclear bombs in its arsenal against Iran. And the consequences could be catastrophic.
Folks,
According to reporting attributed to CNN, military officials are considering the use of the GBU-43/B, commonly known as the “Mother of All Bombs,” as part of potential strikes against Iranian infrastructure and nuclear facilities if Donald Trump gives the order.
Let’s be very clear about something. This is not a normal military development.
The Mother of All Bombs is an approximately 21,600-pound conventional weapon designed to create an enormous blast. It was first used in combat in Afghanistan in 2017.
And now we’re talking about potentially deploying it in another major escalation involving Iran.
This should alarm every single American.
Striking energy infrastructure could have devastating consequences for civilians, disrupt essential services, and further destabilize an already volatile region. Attacks involving nuclear facilities raise additional concerns about environmental contamination and public safety.
And once again, we’re left asking the same question.
Where the hell is Congress?
The American people deserve transparency about military operations that could drag this country into an even larger conflict. They deserve answers about the risks, the objectives, and the potential consequences.
To be clear, these are reportedly military options under consideration. There has been no confirmed order to deploy the weapon.
But the fact that such an escalation is even being discussed deserves serious scrutiny.
We cannot normalize the possibility of catastrophic military escalation simply because Donald Trump is sitting in the White House.
War is not a political spectacle. Human lives are on the line.
