Why I’m Building an Independent Progressive Media Platform
Most people aren’t getting clear, honest information about politics anymore.

That’s why I’m building this platform.
This Substack, along with my YouTube channel and social media in general, will be focused on breaking down politics in plain language—no cable news framing, no talking points, and no both-sides nonsense. When something matters, I want to slow it down and actually talk about it.
A major focus of this work will be spotlighting progressive candidates, especially down-ballot races that rarely receive meaningful coverage. School boards, city councils, state legislatures—these races shape people’s daily lives long before anything reaches Congress.
I’ve already had candidates reach out, and going forward I’ll be vetting them publicly: who they are, what they stand for, and why their race matters. This isn’t about endorsements for clicks or acting as a campaign megaphone. It’s about giving voters access and context they’re not getting elsewhere.
I don’t offer scripted interviews or message approval. I’m not here to function as anyone’s PR arm. What I do offer is fair, good-faith coverage and a politically engaged audience that actually wants to understand what’s at stake.
If you’re tired of politics feeling like something that happens to you instead of with you, this platform is for you. And if you care about building real progressive power—not just arguing online—this work is for you too.
This is independent, people-powered media. If it’s valuable to you, your support is what makes it sustainable.
Subscribe if you want deeper breakdowns, candidate spotlights, and long-form analysis as news unfolds. And hold me to what I’ve said here.
There’s a lot to talk about—and this is just the start.
Thank you all for being here, and thank you for fighting.
